we allow life to become more complicated than it needs to be, and sometimes we make life more complicated for ourselves so that we have less time to fill, dealing with our inner selves and the chaos that can abound *in there*
this time prior to making hijrah needs to be a period of reflection and self evaluation, I need to be honest with myself about changes that need to be made, and I need to have clear goals in mind for this next stage in my family's life.
this is no small step we are taking and will change the whole dynamic of our lives, so thought and careful consideration will need to be used in the run up to our leaving for Algeria and in our settling down over there.
Allah bless us with sabr, ameen

Aslamu alakum my dear sister
If you have prepared yourself mentally before hand then insha'Allah, no matter what circumstances you might face, no matter the length of time or the level of pain, you will find within you the sabr and strength to cope.
The same seems true of hijra: prepare yourself mentally in advance and accept it will not be perfect, that there will be difficulties and problems and, yes, cultural clashes on occasion as well, but if you accept that in advance of going and remember WHY you are leaving the lands of kufr then insha'Allah Allah will make it easy for you, even it is by making it easy for you to find the sabr within yourself to ride the problems as they hit.
hey girlie.. where are the updates?? give me what i crave!! :D or are you too busy organising your iftar ladies parties? heehee
